Senior MLOps Engineer with ML/AI

The role supports a global team working on multiple SaaS environments focused on environmental and social impact, using Azure and various cloud platforms transitioning from IaaS to PaaS and serverless architectures with integrated AI/ML components.

• Solid experience designing, implementing, and managing infrastructure for AI/ML or HPC workloads.
• Proven success managing and optimizing CI/CD for an Azure-based SaaS application.
• Hands-on experience with standard DevOps tools, including Azure DevOps.
• Expertise in scripting with PowerShell or Bash.
• Understanding of configuration management tools such as Terraform.
• Working knowledge of version control/source code management tools.
• Experience with agile software development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of databases, including SQL and NoSQL.
• Strong knowledge of web server configuration and management (e.g., IIS, Tomcat).
• Familiarity with local and wide area networking technologies (switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs).
• Strong understanding of security principles.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience working in a fast-paced technical environment with high standards.
• Ability to assimilate information quickly under pressure.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across disciplines.
• Strong analytical skills to drive reliability improvements.
• Strong planning skills for meeting business expectations and timely project delivery.

Nice to have:

• Understanding of machine learning frameworks/libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn and their production deployment.
• Familiarity with cloud-based networking (VNETs, NSGs, Route Tables, Hub/Spoke architecture, Private Endpoints).
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines (YAML and Classic).
• Experience with PaaS services: Web Apps, Function Apps, Storage Accounts, Key Vaults, Azure Redis Cache, Azure Service Bus, API Management, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks.
• Experience in monitoring tools like New Relic, LogEntries, Rapid7, Azure Monitoring.
• Experience with containers/Docker for microservices or SOA.
• Familiarity with Git, ARM, Terraform, Ansible, Azure CLI.

• Support application infrastructure to optimize platform performance and reliability.
• Build and maintain infrastructure for cloud environments and applications.
• Lead design and engineering of software systems for the AI/ML Platform.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline ML development.
• Build and manage enterprise AI solutions using Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, AI Search, and Prompt Flow.
• Utilize a wide range of Azure resources for scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient services.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams, providing subject matter expertise.
• Perform and automate system administration tasks including installation, configuration, maintenance, and disaster recovery.
• Identify system-level issues related to OS configuration and virtual hardware.
• Provide automation, auditing, and tools for security, compliance, and resource usage.
• Monitor processes for deployments and improve operational excellence using business-focused KPIs.
• Maintain ownership of sprint tasks with proper time logging and documentation.
