QA Engineer

Tradevest is a BaFin-licensed digital financial infrastructure provider headquartered in Munich, Germany. It offers banking-as-a-service solutions for trading, custody, and management of traditional securities, cryptocurrencies, and tokenized assets through an integrated platform. The IT development hub is based in Warsaw, with a hybrid work model involving in-office collaboration twice a week.

• Experience in manual and automated testing across APIs, web applications, and mobile apps
• Meticulous, detail-oriented approach important in fintech
• Ability to understand complex business domains and translate requirements into test strategies
• Strong communication skills for interaction with developers, business analysts, and clients
• Proactive mindset engaging in shaping the product, not just testing
• Willingness to learn about trading markets, financial regulations, and platform knowledge

Nice to have:

• Prior experience in fintech, banking, or regulated industries
• Understanding of EU trading markets regulations, including MiFID II, KYC/AML
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Playwright
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman, REST Assured
• Experience with BDD frameworks such as Ginkgo/Gomega, Cucumber

• Test multiple platforms across manual API testing, web app validation, and mobile app testing on Android and iOS
• Build and maintain automated regression test suites to safeguard critical financial workflows
• Explore and implement AI-assisted testing approaches to increase coverage and efficiency
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders on user story refinement and acceptance criteria
• Support documentation management and serve as a key point of contact for clients
• Bring a detail-oriented, analytical mindset to a highly regulated environment
