Lead .NET Developer

OneRail Poland Sp. z o.o. works on transforming final mile logistics and supply chain operations through scalable software solutions.

• 8+ years in software engineering, ideally with .NET and C#, including at least 2 years in a technical leadership role.
• Expertise in designing and developing scalable APIs, knowledge of RESTful principles.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and related design patterns.
• Experience with message queues like RabbitMQ or Kafka and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, CosmosDB or similar.
• Experience with cloud services (Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices.
• Experience managing software releases, performance monitoring, and reliability improvements.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in English (B2+).

• Define the technical direction, ensuring scalable, maintainable, and high-performing architecture.
• Stay hands-on with coding, leading by example and enforcing best practices in security, performance, deployment, and observability.
• Implement scalable microservices, API gateways, and event-driven architectures with high availability and fault tolerance.
• Champion high-quality code testing, automation testing, and CI/CD.
• Oversee Azure-based cloud architecture optimizing performance, security, and cost.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of 5-7 engineers, fostering collaboration and growth.
• Recruit and interview top engineering talent.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to align roadmap priorities and enhance workflows.
• Optimize development workflows and SDLC processes for better team efficiency.
• Establish engineering KPIs and utilize data-driven insights for performance improvements.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.
