Data Engineer - Microsoft Fabric

Angry Nerds is a software house with 10 years in the market, approximately 100 employees, and 545 completed projects. They focus on mobile and web application development.

• Several years of commercial experience in data processing using Azure cloud technologies, including Azure Synapse and Microsoft Fabric
• Good knowledge of Apache PySpark using Notebooks
• Experience working with CSV, Delta, and Parquet file types
• Experience in ETL and ELT pipelines
• Experience working with Azure cloud
• Experience with Azure SQL including:
  • Very good knowledge of SQL (T-SQL)
  • Analysis and maintenance of stored procedures and views
• Identification and mapping of dependencies in the medallion architecture (CSV, JSON, SQL)
• Reverse-engineering business logic including documenting rules and identifying edge cases

• Create code and collaborate with project teams and clients
• Pay attention to SQL query performance
• Participate in project analysis, estimation, and planning
• Support other developers in analyzing and improving solutions
• Propose new solutions and contribute to the improvement of existing ones
• Work with data in various formats preparing it for further analysis using cloud technologies
• Use English in daily work
