Senior AOSP Developer

Angry Nerds is a company offering a fully remote position focusing on Android Open Source Project (AOSP) development. The role is within a team that works with international clients.

• Minimum 3 years commercial experience with AOSP
• Good understanding of the Android system architecture and AOSP project structure, including system compilation and modification
• Very good knowledge of Kotlin and Android SDK
• Experience with reactive programming (e.g., Coroutines, RxJava)
• Experience working with ADB (Android Debug Bridge)
• Proficiency with Linux and comfortable working in a Linux environment
• Knowledge of build systems such as Soong, Make, and CMake
• Ability to use debugging tools
• Experience programming using at least one of C, C++, or Java
• Experience creating unit tests
• Experience with Gerrit
• Proficiency in English to communicate with clients

Nice to have:

• Experience with Bluetooth LE
• Experience with multi-module projects
• Experience with GMS, OTA, SystemUI modifications, and HAL

• Writing code and collaborating with the project team
• Cooperating with clients
• Participating in project analysis, estimation, and planning
• Using English for daily client communication
