Senior Staff Engineer

Our still-growing Department is composed of well balanced agile teams with a full range of software development experience and the embedded mindset of DevOps culture and continuous delivery approach. Teams are responsible for end-to-end software development including: design, implementation, testing, delivery and maintenance in a 24/7 support model.

• 12+ years experience in building products and driving their architecture
• Practical knowledge about microservices or other distributed systems and REST API
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Math, or related fields
• English language skills for efficient communication with peers and customers in North America
• Demonstrated leadership in technical or managerial roles
• Ability to work independently without supervision

• Participate as a leader from the technical or managerial point of view
• Help organize work and planning for the team
• Engage in complex tasks and define, maintain architecture for the team
• Work without supervision and have strong, visible impact on the team, product, and department

Must have:

• Use Java (Spring), build and maintain REST APIs
• Work with Kubernetes/Docker or alternatives
• Manage distributed systems such as microservices or client-server topologies
• Implement CI/CD pipelines
• Conduct automated testing
• Use cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
• Work on observability and monitoring
• Handle messaging systems

Nice to have:

• Experience with RabbitMQ/AMQ
• Knowledge of SIP, RTP protocols
• Experience with GStreamer
• Networking knowledge
• Experience with Private Cloud solutions based on Proxmox/Openshift
