Senior Product Manager - Consumer

Payward is the parent company behind Kraken, NinjaTrader, Breakout, xStocks, Payward Services, and CF Benchmarks. Kraken, founded in 2011, is one of the world's longest-standing crypto platforms, trusted by over 10 million individuals and institutions globally, offering spot trading, margin, futures, staking, and OTC services. The Consumer Trading team is responsible for the consumer experience on Kraken's mobile and web applications, enabling clients to instantly buy, sell, and convert stocks, cryptocurrencies, and cash, while continuously adding new features and improvements.

• 4+ years of product management experience
• Strong product sense with keen attention to UX and detail
• Comfortable prototyping with AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor) for hands-on testing and validation
• Strong understanding of retail trading landscape and user behavior
• Experience building retail products in domains such as stocks, cryptocurrencies, or derivatives
• Prior experience in crypto, trading, or banking
• Expertise in data gathering and quantitative analysis, including SQL and data visualization tools
• Solution-oriented, highly motivated, and proactive self-starter

Nice to have:

• Experience scaling subscription products, including pricing strategy, feature gating, and churn management
• Proven ability to drive product-led growth including activation, retention, and monetization loops

• Deliver Consumer Trading initiatives, including new features, functionalities, and enhancements
• Prototype experiences using AI tools such as Claude Code and Cursor to bring ideas to life before detailed specification
• Work closely with key stakeholders to gather feedback and communicate the product roadmap
• Define and develop detailed product and business analysis and requirements
• Perform User Acceptance Testing to ensure correct implementation of requirements
• Take ownership of the product and collaborate with Finance and Operations teams for business continuity
• Evangelize the use of analytics and experimentation to build a data-driven organization
• Evaluate new product opportunities and propose products to engage consumers
