Senior Test Automation Engineer

LinkGroup is hiring for a Senior QA Engineer / Test Automation Engineer role focused on a complex product suite used for asset lifecycle and investment decision processes. The platform supports business-critical processes requiring transparency, traceability, and reliability across teams and projects.

• Experience as a Manual and Automation Test Engineer with hands-on automation experience across different SDLC stages.
• Experience creating automated tests for web applications and APIs.
• Practical knowledge of testing tools and frameworks such as Playwright, Postman, JMeter, JUnit, and NUnit.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps and Git.
• Ability to understand and test complex applications with strong business and product context.
• Experience working closely with developers in agile delivery teams.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Ability to design automation strategies supporting business-critical validation.
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach to improving quality.

Nice to have:

• Experience testing applications with complex calculations, financial logic, forecasting, cost estimation, or engineering domains.
• Building reusable test automation standards across multiple teams or products.
• Supporting release automation and deployment pipelines.
• Understanding cloud environments and integration testing setups.
• Applying domain knowledge to test design and automation logic.

• Support the shift from waterfall-style testing towards in-sprint agile testing.
• Design, maintain, and execute manual and automated tests for web applications, APIs, integrations, and data-related scenarios.
• Work with developers and engineers to ensure quality is built into each release.
• Increase test coverage and reduce repetitive manual test cases through automation.
• Build and improve automated testing across the software development lifecycle.
• Support improvements in the software release process through automation.
• Help set up environments and deployments for system and integration testing used by multiple teams.
• Contribute to pipeline standards reusable across projects.
• Validate integrity of complex business logic, including financial calculations and engineering-related tools.
• Collaborate with product teams to ensure test strategies reflect real business and domain requirements.
