Senior Cloud Migration Project Manager

IBM Consulting works with leading companies across industries to support their hybrid cloud and AI journeys, leveraging strategic partners and technologies such as Red Hat.

• Experience managing scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables for cloud migration projects per SOW/contract. • Knowledge of project management techniques: Garage Method for Cloud, Design Thinking, Agile Delivery Model, Continuous Modernization. • Very good understanding of application components: System of Engagement (SOE), System of Insight (SOI), System of Integration (SOI), System of Records (SOR). • Experience delivering projects on cloud platforms: IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, RedHat OpenShift, or Google. • Experience with continuous modernization, co-existence architecture, refactor, containerization, APIs, Microservices creation, language conversion, Database conversion. • Knowledge of co-existence architecture integrating legacy systems with modernized applications. • Experience in refactoring and containerization to improve application efficiency and scalability. • Experience in creating microservices with scalable, modular, maintainable architectures.

• Manage Project Scope and Deliverables: Lead the project team to deliver the solution as per the SOW/contract, ensuring all scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables are met. • Apply Project Management Techniques: Utilize Garage Method for Cloud, Design Thinking, Agile Delivery Model, and Continuous Modernization. • Lead Modernization Delivery Team: Interface with Client PM and stakeholders for seamless modernization project delivery. • Ensure Cloud Platform Delivery: Deliver projects on cloud platforms including IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, RedHat OpenShift, or Google. • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely to understand needs and meet expectations.
