Administrator Systemów IT Linux (m/k)

• Minimum 2–3 years experience administering Linux systems including installation, configuration, maintenance, updating, and diagnostics; preferred experience with Debian/Ubuntu
• Practical knowledge of automating administrative tasks using Bash/Python scripting and configuration management tools like Ansible or similar
• Understanding of TCP/IP stack and basic network services including DNS, DHCP, routing, and firewalling
• Knowledge of TLS encryption, web service configuration, and reverse proxy technologies such as Nginx, Apache, or HAProxy
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Podman
• Experience installing, updating, and basic maintenance of MySQL, MariaDB, or PostgreSQL database engines
• Proficiency working with system logs and diagnostic tools
• Ability to diagnose and resolve system, network, and performance problems
• Knowledge of Linux system security fundamentals including account management, permissions, sudo, and security updates
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring systems like Checkmk, Zabbix, Prometheus, or similar
• English language skills sufficient for working with technical documentation and vendor support
• Proactive problem-solving approach

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of container orchestration such as Kubernetes
• Familiarity with Linux security best practices
• Understanding of SELinux or AppArmor
• Knowledge of networking including switches, firewalls, VLAN, VPN, and fundamental routing
• Experience with LDAP, Kerberos, Active Directory or SSO integration
• Familiarity with VMware virtualization platform
• Experience maintaining high-availability services or clusters
• Relevant education, trainings, or certifications such as RHCSA, RHCE, LPIC or equivalents
• Experience working in enterprise or data center environments
• Experience with GitLab, CI/CD, or developer process tools
• Knowledge of cloud solutions like AWS or Azure

• Administration of Linux server infrastructure including installation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance
• Maintenance and development of Debian/Ubuntu-based Linux environments
• System, package, and service updates
• Installation, updating, and maintenance of application services including Apache/Nginx web servers and MySQL/MariaDB/PostgreSQL database engines
• Maintenance of services running in container environments using Docker/Podman
• Execution of deployment, migration, and modernization projects related to the server environment
• Automation of administrative tasks through Bash/SH scripting and use of automation tools such as Ansible
• Administration of system services like systemd, SSH, cron, logrotate, sudo; configuration of firewalls using firewalld/iptables/nftables
• Monitoring systems, services, and resources and responding to incidents
• Analysis of logs and diagnosing system, network, and performance issues
• Ensuring appropriate system security through updates, permissions, service configurations, and best practices
• Collaboration in maintaining VMware virtualization environment and server infrastructure
• Cooperation with infrastructure, network, and IT security teams
• Creating and updating technical documentation
