DevOps Engineer/SRE (Cloud IaaS)

The company collaborates with technology partners such as Intel, NVIDIA, Dell, and Equinix to deliver platforms powering global digital products. The role is part of the Edge Cloud IaaS Team, which manages a platform powering virtual machines, networking, and storage services across a globally distributed infrastructure.

• 5+ years of production experience as a DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineer.
• Strong Linux administration skills and experience operating production infrastructure at scale.
• Hands-on experience with OpenStack.
• Experience in infrastructure automation using Ansible and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
• Solid networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, routing, switching, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with virtualization systems like KVM, Libvirt, and QEMU.
• Ability to write Python and Bash scripts to automate operations.
• Comfortable working in production environments and participating in on-call rotations.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Ceph or other distributed storage systems.
• Experience with Puppet.
• Experience setting up and tuning monitoring/alerting stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Alert manager.
• Experience with baremetal provisioning tools such as Ironic, PXE, or MAAS.
• Experience working in hosting or cloud service provider environments.

• Deploy and operate Linux-based infrastructure supporting the Edge Cloud platform.
• Build, automate, and improve infrastructure provisioning and lifecycle management.
• Plan and execute infrastructure maintenance with minimal customer impact.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across compute, networking, virtualization, and storage layers.
• Improve reliability, scalability, and observability of the cloud platform.
• Design, implement, and improve infrastructure automation and deployment workflows using GitLab CI, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Collaborate with engineers across infrastructure, networking, and platform teams to improve services.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to support production infrastructure.
