Junior Software Engineer – Data & Profile Integration (m/f/d)

ALM Services Technology Group develops end-to-end Web and Mobile Solutions, working closely with customers usually in long term relations. Founded in 2009 in Poland, with a branch in Budapest since 2022, the company cooperates with a multinational med-tech and analytics partner since 2020, supporting various stages of growth and building multiple applications.

• Growing hands-on experience with Python.
• Interest in backend and data-heavy systems with willingness to learn data pipelines and matching concepts.
• Basic understanding of working with structured data such as JSON and profile/entity records.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases, with PostgreSQL as a plus.
• Exposure to REST API concepts, ideally internal APIs.
• Familiarity with Git and standard version-control workflows.
• Basic understanding of unit testing (e.g., using pytest or similar).
• Good communication skills and proficiency in English sufficient for international team collaboration.

Nice to have:

• Exposure to full-stack development with Node.js and React.
• Interest in LLM APIs, data engineering, or profile/entity matching.
• Basic familiarity with Docker.

• Help build and maintain services for collecting, normalising, and handling profile, entity, and content data.
• Assist in normalising and validating JSON and profile/entity records.
• Write and maintain basic SQL queries against relational databases.
• Integrate with internal REST APIs under guidance from mid-level and senior engineers.
• Write unit tests and participate in code review.
• Use Git for version control and follow team workflows.
• Collaborate with mid-level and senior engineers on data pipeline components.
• Document code and processes clearly.
• Contribute to small full-stack tasks using Node.js / React as opportunities arise.
• Use AI-assisted development tools under supervision, remaining mindful of code quality and correctness.
