Product Designer

Our client is a global software company transforming the way engineering and manufacturing organizations develop and manage complex products. Their platform enables some of the world’s leading manufacturers to accelerate innovation, improve collaboration, and optimize product lifecycle management.

• 5–7+ years of experience in Product Design, UX Design, Service Design, or related disciplines, with a proven track record of designing complex digital products.
• Experience or familiarity with the manufacturing industry and product development workflows (e.g., PLM, Digital Thread, engineering design automation, or related B2B domains).
• Deep understanding of user-centered design methodologies, Lean UX, and design thinking principles.
• Hands-on proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools, e.g., Figma.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, conduct, and analyze user research and usability testing, translating insights into actionable product improvements.
• Ability to generate order and clarity from ambiguity and chaos, designing both new concepts and extending deployed, mission-critical systems.
• Strong skills communicating design decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have:

• Background in B2B SaaS or complex multi-channel systems.
• General understanding of front-end platforms such as React and Angular.
• Awareness of ML/AI concepts.
• Degree in Design, User Experience, Human Factors, or related field.

• Collaborating with a cross-functional, geographically dispersed Agile product team to drive human-centered design processes.
• Leading the definition and execution of UX outcomes, translating research findings, analytics, and user feedback into effective design solutions.
• Conducting and facilitating user research, contextual inquiry, and usability testing to deeply understand customer needs and workflows.
• Creating design artifacts with appropriate fidelity (user flows, maps, wireframes, interactive prototypes, high-fidelity UI) to effectively communicate design concepts and intent.
• Working closely with Product Managers and Engineering teams to ensure design solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with business goals.
• Supporting overall product strategy and advocating for user needs across the organization.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of design processes, sharing best practices, and helping elevate the UX culture within the team.
