Data Engineer

DCG is a company working in the ecosystem of financial services, focusing on data engineering and analytics solutions for advanced financial products and services.

• Advanced knowledge of SQL
• Experience with databases and creating and maintaining ETL processes
• Good knowledge of at least one data visualization tool, e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense
• Familiarity with NoSQL solutions and search engines such as Elastic Search or other object storage and processing systems
• Ability to work with XML and JSON files and analyze text logs
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power Query with practical experience in MS Excel or Power BI
• Programming skills in at least one high-level language, e.g., Python
• Understanding of segmentation and prediction concepts
• Practical knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems including writing batch files for shell environments
• Highly developed analytical skills
• Good knowledge of tools like Jira and Confluence

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of embedded finance, open banking, and PSD2
• Experience with advanced data analysis tools such as R, SAS, including scripting languages like SAS 4GL
• Knowledge of analytics solutions based on the Google Cloud Platform environment

• Building ETL processes using modern technologies including elastic search, kubernetes, microservices, and data streaming
• Developing and maintaining database infrastructure
• Preparing reports, analyses, and presentations related to products and services in the financial services ecosystem
• Forecasting and monitoring availability and efficiency metrics for HUB API
• Building and implementing sales funnels
• Analyzing large datasets and recommending optimization solutions for end clients
• Ensuring data quality and developing reporting and analytical tools
• Creating documentation for analyses and built ETL and reporting solutions
• Close cooperation with other scrum teams in product development
