IT Operations Mainframe

• Deep understanding of mainframe technologies: COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS, IMS, and Base SAS
• Capability to use TSO/ISPF and SDSF
• Experience working with tools like OPC/TWS, Abend aid, and File Aid

Nice to have:

• Scripting knowledge (REXX, Python, Shell)
• Distributed systems knowledge for hybrid environments
• Exposure to DevOps and Agile methodologies
• Experience with cloud integration and mainframe modernization initiatives

• Proven experience in incident handling and problem management
• Conduct incident analysis with strong analytical skills
• Use tools like TSO/ISPF and SDSF to browse datasets and monitor system output
• Work with tools like OPC/TWS, Abend aid, and File Aid for defect fixes
• Adapt to new tools and evolving technologies
