Expert Snowflake Engineer

This project is for a client in the healthcare sector. The role involves ownership of the architecture and development of a Snowflake environment using a modern cloud data stack.

• Expert-level knowledge of Snowflake, including architecture, schema design, performance tuning, clustering, and data sharing.
• Strong knowledge of dbt Cloud and experience migrating to dbt Core.
• Experience designing and building ETL/ELT processes.
• Advanced SQL skills, including complex transformations, window functions, and query optimisation.
• Experience with data modelling, including star schema and raw/staging/marts layers.
• Experience with security and data governance, including RBAC, Row-Level Security, and access management.
• Experience working in Agile/SCRUM environments.
• Ability to create technical documentation.
• Very good command of English.

• Apache Airflow.

• dbt on Snowflake (Dynamic Tables, Snowpark Python, incremental models).
• AWS.
• Python.

• Experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
