Senior DevOps Engineer with ML/AI

• Solid experience designing, implementing, and managing infrastructure for AI/ML or HPC workloads.
• Proven success in managing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines for an Azure-based SaaS application.
• Hands-on experience with standard DevOps tools, including Azure DevOps.
• Expertise in scripting with at least PowerShell or Bash.
• Understanding of configuration management tools like Terraform.
• Working knowledge of version control/source code management tools.
• Experience in agile software development lifecycles.
• Knowledge of databases, including SQL and NoSQL.
• Strong knowledge of web server configuration management such as IIS or Tomcat.
• Familiarity with local and wide area networking technologies (switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs).
• Strong understanding of security principles.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-demand environments and assimilate information quickly.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multiple disciplines.
• Strong analytical and planning skills to drive reliability and meet business expectations.

Nice to have:

• Understanding of machine learning frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn and their production deployment.
• Familiarity with cloud-based networking concepts like VNETs, NSGs, Route Tables, Hub/Spoke architectures, and Private Endpoints.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD processes (YAML and Classic Pipelines).
• Experience with PaaS offerings like Web Apps, Function Apps, Storage Accounts, Key Vaults, Azure Redis Cache, Azure Service Bus, API Management, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as New Relic, LogEntries, Rapid7, Azure Monitoring.
• Some experience with containers and Docker.
• Familiarity with Git, ARM templates, Terraform, Ansible, Azure CLI, or similar tools.

• Support application infrastructure to ensure platform optimization for performance and reliability.
• Build and maintain supporting infrastructure for cloud environments and applications.
• Lead design and engineering of software systems for the AI/ML Platform throughout the ML development lifecycle.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline ML development.
• Build and manage enterprise AI solutions using Azure AI Foundry and Azure integrated platform components such as Azure OpenAI, AI Search, and Prompt Flow.
• Use a wide range of Azure resources to implement scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient services.
• Collaborate with engineers, guiding critical projects using subject matter expertise.
• Perform and automate system administration tasks including installation, configuration, maintenance, and disaster recovery.
• Identify and resolve system-level issues related to OS configuration and virtual hardware bottlenecks.
• Provide automation, auditing, and tooling for security, compliance, and resource usage, and monitor deployment processes.
• Take ownership of operational excellence by establishing and maintaining business-focused KPIs.
• Maintain task ownership each sprint with proper logging and documentation.
