Data Product Manager - Finance (m/f)

McCormick & Company is seeking a Finance Data Product Manager responsible for delivering trusted and high-value Finance data products to support strategic financial decision-making, performance transparency, and operational excellence. The role operates at the intersection of Finance, Data & Analytics, and Technology, partnering across multiple finance and technology teams globally.

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field.
• Experience in data product management, data strategy, or data governance in complex or global organizations.
• Strong understanding of core Finance processes including record-to-report, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, financial planning, and performance management.
• Knowledge of financial reporting standards, internal controls, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, governance, metadata management, and modern data product concepts.
• Experience working in Agile, cross-functional environments with Finance and Technology stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen with ability to translate data solutions into financial and operational value.
• Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills.
• High data literacy, analytical thinking, and strong ownership mindset.

• Define and execute the strategy and roadmap for Finance data products aligned with enterprise priorities.
• Partner with various Finance functions to prioritize initiatives based on financial impact and compliance.
• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of Finance data products using Agile methodologies.
• Translate Finance requirements into actionable user stories and manage the product backlog.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to deliver secure, high-quality, auditable, and accessible Finance data products.
• Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards such as US GAAP/IFRS, SOX controls, and enterprise data governance.
• Embed data quality, lineage, metadata, reconciliation, and control requirements across key Finance domains.
• Monitor data quality, adoption, and business impact to drive continuous improvement.
• Enable stakeholders to discover and responsibly use trusted Finance data as a single source of truth.
• Quantify and communicate the measurable value delivered by Finance data products in partnership with Finance Data Owner.
