DevOps Engineer/SRE (Cloud IaaS)

• 5+ years of production experience as a DevOps/SRE/Infrastructure Engineer.
• Strong Linux administration skills and experience operating production infrastructure at scale.
• Hands-on experience with OpenStack.
• Experience with infrastructure automation using Ansible and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, routing, switching, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with virtualization systems such as KVM, Libvirt, and QEMU.
• Ability to write Python and Bash scripts to automate operational work.
• Comfortable working in production environment and participating in on-call rotation.
• Passion for technology and curiosity about systems at a low level.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Ceph or other distributed storage systems.
• Experience with Puppet.
• Experience setting up and tuning monitoring/alerting stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Alertmanager.
• Experience with baremetal provisioning tools such as Ironic, PXE, or MAAS.
• Experience working in hosting or cloud service provider environment.

• Deploy and operate Linux-based infrastructure supporting the Edge Cloud platform.
• Build, automate, and improve infrastructure provisioning and lifecycle management.
• Plan and execute infrastructure maintenance minimizing customer impact.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across compute, networking, virtualization, and storage layers.
• Improve reliability, scalability, and observability of the cloud platform.
• Design, implement, and improve infrastructure automation and deployment workflows using GitLab CI, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Collaborate with engineers across infrastructure, networking, and platform teams.
• Participate in on-call rotation to support production infrastructure.
