C Developer Intern (worldwide, remote)

The Endless Lifecycle Support (ELS) team extends the life of Linux distributions beyond official end-of-life by providing critical security patches and updates. CloudLinux operates fully remote with flexible working hours, focusing on technical expertise and open management.

• Some C programming and debugging skills
• Experience using Git for development and patch/branch management
• Experience with GNU/Linux operating system (CLI) and shell scripting
• Basic experience building the Linux kernel and troubleshooting related issues
• English proficiency at B1 level or above
• Self-starter eager to learn
• Final-year student or entry-level engineer with strong fundamentals
• Ability to read and reason about C / systems code, including reviewing and validating patches
• Solid fundamentals in algorithms and data structures
• Comfortable using AI coding assistants with basic prompting and ability to identify erroneous outputs

• Broad awareness of the current AI-assisted development landscape, including different models and common tooling

• Work on real-world projects and contribute to product development
