Senior Data Architect/Data Engineer

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or related fields.
• Practical knowledge of Apache Druid.
• Experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• Strong skills in data modeling for large-scale analytical systems.
• Experience designing real-time or near real-time reporting platforms.
• Proficiency in SQL and MySQL.
• Experience processing and analyzing billions of events.
• Deep knowledge of distributed data systems and performance optimization.
• Ability to analyze existing data architectures and propose improvements independently.
• Excellent communication skills and experience working with business and technical stakeholders.
• Very good command of English (spoken and written).

Nice to have:

• Experience with Apache Flink and stream processing.
• Knowledge of data enrichment, dimensional modeling, and HyperLogLog.
• Experience with cloud data platforms and Lakehouse architecture (e.g., Apache Iceberg).
• Knowledge of ClickHouse.
• Experience in SaaS/MarTech environments.
• Experience in mentoring and migrating reporting platforms.

• Analyze and assess current reporting platform architecture to identify optimization areas.
• Design scalable and efficient solutions for large data processing and reporting.
• Develop data architecture and analytical models supporting reporting.
• Design real-time data processing solutions and event-driven architectures.
• Collaborate with development teams on implementing new solutions and platform migrations.
• Recommend technologies, architectural patterns, and best practices in Data Engineering.
• Ensure data quality, performance, scalability, and consistency of reporting.
• Optimize performance of distributed data systems and analytical processes.
• Provide technical support, knowledge sharing, and mentoring of team members.
