Software Developer (Python)

Embevity Sp. z o.o. works on a new product from the critical infrastructure protection sector. The team is involved in R&D with real influence on architecture, stack, and product direction at an early stage. The environment is non-corporate with a flat structure and international projects.

• Very good commercial experience with Python and its ecosystem
• Senior or mid+ level with minimum 4–5 years of commercial software development experience
• Good knowledge of web technologies: HTML, JavaScript, TypeScript
• Full-stack experience with confidence on both API and client/browser side
• Communicative English at minimum B2 level with daily communication in English

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of C++ useful for DSP algorithm integration and performance optimization
• Basic AWS, especially IoT Core (product communicates with field devices)
• Experience using Linux for terminal work, environment configuration, and production debugging
• Understanding of Cybersecurity concepts including OWASP, secure coding, and encryption
• Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) tools

• Co-create a new product from scratch for critical infrastructure protection
• Design and build backend services using FastAPI, containerization with Docker, and sound software engineering practices
• Develop user interfaces using Vue 3 and TypeScript (experience with other frameworks like React or Angular accepted)
• Integrate DSP (digital signal processing) algorithms
• Participate in team technical decisions regarding tools, patterns, testing, and deployment
• Maintain code quality via unit and integration tests, code reviews, and maintainability practices
• Support less experienced developers and contribute to team growth
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, testers, and clients to gather requirements, estimate, and plan sprints
• Create technical documentation
