Software Engineer (Python / AWS)

Silvair is developing the "Silvair Platform" consisting of cloud infrastructure, services, appliances, and web applications for mesh network management in the IoT and smart building industry, specifically focusing on smart lighting solutions.

• Solid experience (3+ years) with Python and pytest
• Practical experience with asynchronous programming in Python
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs and familiarity with event-driven architectures
• Experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Redis in production environments
• Operational experience with Docker and Jenkins CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Datadog
• Ability to write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code focusing on architecture and minimizing technical debt
• Self-reliance, strong communication skills, and effective collaboration in cross-functional teams

Nice to have:

• Experience with JavaScript and Node.js
• Exposure to TypeScript and Angular
• Familiarity with AWS, Terraform, and Ansible

• Designing and implementing new features and functionalities across business logic, API, and persistence layers
• Contributing to architectural decisions related to service decomposition, cloud infrastructure, and technical debt reduction
• Performing code reviews to maintain code quality and share technical knowledge
• Writing and maintaining automated tests across the testing pyramid
• Collaborating with product and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
