QA Engineer

Antal is recruiting for a client in the financial sector.

• 3+ years of professional experience as a QA Engineer, Quality Analyst, or similar software testing role
• Strong experience with test automation frameworks using programming/scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Proficient in testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman or code-based libraries
• Solid understanding of relational databases and experience writing SQL queries to verify data integrity
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban) and DevOps culture
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Git, and CI/CD tools
• Fluent in English

• Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on user stories, business requirements, and technical specifications
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and API testing using industry-standard tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Postman, RestAssured)
• Perform detailed manual, exploratory, and usability testing to identify edge cases, defects, and user experience issues
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using toolsets like Jira
• Work closely with development teams to resolve issues in a timely manner
• Integrate automated test suites into Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to facilitate continuous testing and immediate feedback loops
• Actively participate in all Agile/Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives) to advocate for quality and ensure testability of features

Work location is Kraków with a hybrid work model – 2 days per week in the office, 3 days remote.
