Python Engineer

ITLT helps partner companies transform ambitious ideas into digital reality by co-creating unique IT solutions with a focus on challenges, technology curiosity, and agility. The position is for a Senior Python Engineer working on Financial Risk Platforms within the investment banks/hedge funds sector. The team consists of academic and developer experts in science and IT. The project is long-term/ongoing with production systems running on AWS and Azure in a multi-cloud environment.

• Completed studies in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
• Advanced knowledge of software design, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience working with multiple programming languages and paradigms.
• At least B2+ level proficiency in English.
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of finance or experience in financial markets.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Implement software solutions for risk management in investment banks and hedge funds.
• Work mainly with backend systems based on Python (70% of the time).
• Occasionally work with C++, Go, Rust, and TypeScript codebases.
• Operate in a multi-cloud environment with production solutions running on AWS and Azure.
• Configure and manage your own work environment, defaulting to macOS but with freedom of tool choice.
• Read and understand code written in multiple programming languages with readiness to make minor changes subject to code review.
