Python Full Stack Engineer

DCV Technologies is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their high-performing engineering team developing innovative web-based platforms.

• Proven experience as a Senior Full Stack Engineer or similar technical leadership role.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript with modern ES6+ features.
• Extensive front-end experience using React and Remix or similar frameworks.
• Strong back-end development experience with Python, including RESTful API design.
• Solid understanding of MongoDB and relational SQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, especially Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing frameworks including Vitest and Pytest.
• Functional testing experience with Playwright is desirable.
• Knowledge of modern DevSecOps practices, including GitHub workflows, CI/CD with GitHub Actions, containerized deployments with Kubernetes, and ArgoCD.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have:

• Azure Developer AZ-204 certification.
• Experience with Databricks or modern data platforms.
• Experience in Scrum-based Agile environments.
• Experience with large-scale enterprise and distributed systems.

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of complex software engineering initiatives from concept through production.
• Architect and build scalable Python RESTful APIs and modern React/Remix-based web applications using service-oriented architecture.
• Develop reusable components and integrations to improve scalability and maintainability.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues.
• Establish and promote engineering best practices across development, testing, security, and deployment.
• Champion a DevOps-first mindset, supporting automation, continuous delivery, and operational excellence.
• Define and address non-functional requirements including performance, accessibility, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, architects, engineers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers.
• Contribute to Agile delivery practices, including planning, estimation, and iterative development.
