Senior DevOps Engineer (Cloud / Azure) (k/m)

PZU Tech S.A. is hiring for a Senior DevOps Engineer role in Warsaw, focusing on cloud-native infrastructure and enterprise-level DevOps solutions.

• Minimum 5 years experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering in enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of Azure cloud platform.
• Expertise with Kubernetes, including AKS, EKS, or GKE.
• Proficient in Terraform and practical skills in Ansible.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling, particularly GitHub Actions and advanced Git.
• Competent in scripting with Python, Bash, or Go.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch.
• Understand DevSecOps tools and practices: SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, secrets management with Vault, Key Vault, or KMS.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks including RODO and DORA.
• Understanding of microservices architecture, high availability, autoscaling, and disaster recovery.
• English language proficiency (minimum B2).

Nice to have:

• Experience with GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Copilot, and AI-based automation.
• Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure APIM, Istio, and Linkerd.
• Leadership skills including mentoring and participating in recruitment.
• Relevant certifications like AZ-104, AZ-305, CKA, CKAD, CKS, Terraform Associate/Professional, and GitHub Advanced Security.

Must Have:

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud-native infrastructure on Azure.
• Manage compute, storage, networking, IAM, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery services.
• Optimize cloud costs (FinOps).
• Handle Kubernetes management including deployment, ingress, network policies, autoscaling (HPA), Helm Charts, secrets management, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Expertise in Docker containerization.
• Use Terraform for infrastructure as code, including module development, state management, and provisioning automation.
• Practical knowledge of Ansible.
• Design and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with GitHub Actions and advanced Git workflows.
• Implement monitoring and observability with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch.
• Incident analysis and troubleshooting in production environments.
• Automate operational and deployment processes using Python, Bash, or Go.
• Apply DevSecOps practices including SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, and secrets management tools like Vault, Key Vault, KMS.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as RODO and DORA.
• Understand microservice architecture and design for high availability, autoscaling, and disaster recovery.
• Collaborate with architects on technology standards.
• English language proficiency (minimum B2).

Nice to Have:

• Experience with GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Copilot.
• Automation using AI techniques.
• Familiarity with Kafka, RabbitMQ, API Management (Azure APIM), and service meshes (Istio, Linkerd).
• Leadership experience mentoring DevOps Engineers, setting organizational standards, and participating in technical recruitment.
• Certifications such as AZ-104 or AZ-305, CKA/CKAD/CKS, Terraform Associate/Professional, and GitHub Advanced Security.

Contracting service provision must be from territory of Poland, partially from the office in Warsaw.
