PIT-RADWAR S.A. is a leading provider of professional electronics devices for the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland. The company has conducted R&D in radiolocation, electronic reconnaissance systems, command automation, and related weapon systems, especially air defense, for several decades. Their products are used by all branches of the Polish Armed Forces and foreign armies. PIT-RADWAR handles the full product delivery cycle from requirements through development, production, and logistics support.

• Higher education, preferably in computer science, electronics, telecommunications, or related field
• Minimum 3 years experience designing IT system and software architecture
• Minimum 3 years programming experience in at least one of the languages: JAVA, C++
• Ability to define and document software architecture using UML notation
• Practical knowledge of design and architectural patterns
• Knowledge of ICT security
• Willingness to build domain knowledge
• Familiarity with software development support tools and techniques, especially CI
• Knowledge of UML for system architecture definition
• Understanding of IT systems functioning and construction (operating systems, network protocols and devices) and communication systems
• English language proficiency sufficient for technical documentation and communication
• Ability to collaborate in an interdisciplinary team

Nice to have:

• Experience in defense domain, particularly Air Defense (OPL) in military units or Ministry of National Defence institutions
• Experience programming and designing solutions using GIS and middleware, especially reactive systems
• Familiarity with architecture frameworks such as NAF, TOGAF
• Experience developing multi-platform software (Linux/Windows)
• Practical knowledge in computer science: data structures, algorithmics, computational complexity, concurrency, parallelism, asynchronicity
• Knowledge of paradigms such as OOP, SOLID, GRASP, CQRS, key design patterns, event-driven programming
• Familiarity with Git, GitLab, JIRA, Jenkins, Confluence, Artifactory
• Experience with JAVA stack including Swing, Spring boot, Hibernate, JUnit, OSGi
• Experience with C++ stack including STL, Boost

• High-level design and modeling of C4ISR systems and components
• Analysis of requirements and functional decomposition of the system
• Analysis of military and commercial normative documents
• Feasibility assessment and acceptance of technical requirements
• Proposing solutions based on software development trends, latest technologies, and normative documents
• Estimating software development effort
• Maintaining documentation for the designed architecture
• Supervising and coordinating implementation and integration works of internal teams and subcontractors
• Participating in system commissioning and integration activities
• Collaborating with programmers, system analysts, and users
• Supporting internal and user acceptance testing (UAT)
