Data Tech Lead

Group One is focused on building a modern data platform using Google Cloud Platform to support data-driven transformation and AI development.

• Strong experience building modern data platforms in cloud environments
• Proficient knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, Airflow, Terraform, and GitHub
• Advanced skills in SQL and Python
• Understanding of Data Governance and modern data management approaches
• Experience with scalable data architectures
• Leadership experience with ability to combine strategic thinking and hands-on work
• Effective communication skills with executives and technical teams
• Passion for developing people and organizational impact
• Additional advantage: knowledge of AI and Agent Platform concepts

• Create and execute Data strategy for Group One
• Build foundations for AI transformation and data-driven organizational growth
• Design and develop a modern data platform based on Google Cloud Platform
• Set the development direction for the Google Cloud environment and implement new services supporting data and AI
• Establish Data Governance and Data Quality standards
• Design FinOps solutions and optimize cloud environment costs
• Collaborate with Controlling to enhance reporting and business decision analysis
• Partner with Product, PMO, and Development teams to design and deliver strategic data and AI products
• Define technical standards and shape the data ecosystem roadmap
• Identify automation opportunities to improve organizational efficiency
• Build and develop a Data Dream Team of Data Engineers, Data Analysts, and BI Analysts
• Recruit and mentor team members
• Foster a culture of accountability, high standards, trust, and continuous growth
• Support the team as both a leader and technical partner
