Senior Linux Engineer

Square One Resources is looking for an experienced Senior Linux Engineer to join their team responsible for maintaining, developing, and securing Linux environments. The role involves working with server and endpoint infrastructure, network solutions, security, and environments supporting R&D teams.

• Minimum 5 years experience in Linux administration and management
• Very good knowledge of Linux systems, especially Ubuntu and Red Hat Enterprise Linux
• Experience managing servers, system configuration, and security patching
• Practical knowledge of network protocols and services: DNS, DHCP, NTP, SNMP, VPN, firewall
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD environments
• Ability to diagnose system performance, availability, and communication issues
• Experience working with R&D or complex IT infrastructure
• Knowledge of infrastructure security and best compliance practices
• Independence, analytical approach, and teamwork skills
• Very good English language skills
• Willingness to work in a hybrid mode in Krakow office

• Manage, maintain, and optimize Linux (Ubuntu, Red Hat) environments
• Administer Linux servers and endpoints
• Manage system configuration, patching, and security updates
• Maintain and develop Docker infrastructure and support CI/CD environments
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot network services (DNS, DHCP, NTP, SNMP)
• Administer firewalls, VPN, and remote access solutions
• Monitor system performance, analyze logs, and resolve infrastructure issues
• Support R&D teams with development and testing environments
• Collaborate with system, cybersecurity teams, and junior engineers
• Participate in security-related activities, audits, and compliance
• Work with Microsoft enterprise solutions (Entra ID, Intune, SSO, PKI)
• Design and maintain secure communication solutions using Cloudflare tools

Position requires ability to work in hybrid model at Krakow office. Very good English language skills required.
