Intern Full-stack Developer (Java)

• 0–1+ years of experience as a Java developer
• Basic knowledge of Java and familiarity with Spring or Spring Boot
• Exposure to frontend technologies (Angular, TypeScript is a plus)
• Understanding of REST API fundamentals
• Familiarity with Git, Maven, and basic testing tools (JUnit)
• Willingness to learn cloud, DevOps, and modern development practices
• Strong learning mindset and team collaboration skills
• Understanding basic insurance concepts is a plus

• Contribute to frontend and backend implementation with focus on code quality and maintainability
• Support development of user interfaces using the Angular framework
• Assist in building and maintaining RESTful APIs using Java and Spring technologies
• Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and deliver assigned features
• Analyze and fix defects with guidance from more experienced developers
• Continuously build and maintain foundational knowledge in Java technologies and learn new technologies with focus on Guidewire
• Support CI/CD and deployment activities following established processes
• Actively learn Gosu and Guidewire (GW) platform as part of project requirements
