C Software Engineer with experience in Python

The company has 250+ people, operating since 2011, working with clients globally including US, Japan, Israel, and Europe.

• High level of patience and strong ability to analyze multithreaded code and complex system dependencies
• Deep practical knowledge of C as primary development language, including low level debugging
• Practical, hands-on experience with Bazel build system
• Experience with Python for test automation
• Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in GDB, ltrace, pprof debugging tools
• English language proficiency at B2 level or higher for team communication

Nice to have:

• Familiarity or willingness to learn the YANG data modeling language
• Experience in writing and refactoring complex bash scripts
• Basic knowledge of network protocols and networking device software architecture

• Maintain core system components and drive optimization tasks focused on performance and speed
• Work closely with logging, monitoring, and telemetry features to enhance observability and system visibility
• Develop and refactor software primarily using Golang and C, while maintaining and replacing legacy Bash scripts
• Create automated tests using Python to cover regressions and bridge coverage gaps
• Investigate complex bugs, track system calls, and analyze multithreaded dependencies
• Participate in technical discussions to define implementation of requirements
