Senior Project Manager

Square One Resources seeks a Senior Project Manager to join a global pharmaceutical organization. The role involves leading delivery of complex, cross-functional initiatives in an international environment, focusing on collaboration across business and technology teams.

• 7+ years of experience in Project Management, Delivery Management, or Program Management.
• Proven experience managing large-scale, complex projects in an Agile environment.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders.
• Experience managing project scope, risks, budgets, timelines, and cross-functional dependencies.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Experience using project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Nice to have:

• Experience in the pharmaceutical, life sciences, biotechnology, or healthcare industry.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, or SAFe.
• Experience working in global, matrix organizations.

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex projects and strategic initiatives.
• Define, manage, and control project scope, ensuring alignment with business priorities and objectives.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, and governance processes.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional business and technical teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels, including senior leadership.
• Facilitate decision-making, workshops, and project governance meetings.
• Drive continuous improvement by implementing Agile delivery best practices and delivery frameworks.
• Monitor project progress, communicate status updates, and provide recommendations to ensure successful outcomes.
• Support organizational change initiatives and contribute to process optimization.
