Mainframe Support Engineer

• Deep understanding of mainframe technologies including COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS, and IMS
• Experience with Base SAS
• Capability to use TSO/ISPF and SDSF to browse datasets and monitor system output
• Experience with tools like OPC/TWS, Abend aid, and File Aid for defect fixes

Nice to have:

• Scripting experience with REXX, Python, Shell
• Knowledge of distributed systems for hybrid environments
• Exposure to DevOps and Agile methodologies
• Experience with cloud integration and mainframe modernization initiatives

• Provide operational support with strong technical expertise
• Handle incidents and perform problem management
• Analyze incidents with strong analytical skills
• Proactively solve problems
• Adapt to evolving technologies

Candidates must be located in or able to work hybrid in Gdańsk, Poland, with 3 days per week in the office.
