Mobile/Xamarin Developer

• 5+ years of experience in software development
• Very good knowledge of C#/.NET
• Advanced in iOS development (native or Xamarin.iOS), including:
  • Creating UI with Autolayout
  • Implementing flexible layouts based on UITableView and UICollectionView
  • Familiarity with platform idioms (view controllers, delegates, data sources, gesture recognizers etc.)
  • Troubleshooting layout issues and resolving constraint conflicts
• Practical knowledge of design patterns, especially MVVM
• Familiar with object-oriented programming principles and design patterns

Nice to have:

• Experience in XAML development (UWP or WPF)
• Experience with Azure DevOps
• Experience with MvvmCross library
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Up-to-speed with current development tools and practices (GIT, PR reviews, agile methodologies)
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including UX designers, software developers, and project managers
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

• Working on a large scale cross-platform iOS/UWP project (~500K lines of code)
• Cooperating with the local Awumba team and client team in Houston (~25 team members total)
• Delivering high quality C# code, both cross-platform and platform-specific for iOS and UWP
• Refactoring complex legacy solutions and proposing improvements
• Owning major functional areas of the application
• Troubleshooting issues based on application logs and crash logs
• Upgrading SDKs or other 3rd party components
• Performing code reviews for your peers
• Analyzing requirements and collecting additional information from the client
• Attending daily meetings with the client (7:30 CST)
