Wymagania
- 7–10 years of hands-on experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, SRE, Cloud Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar role working with or building public cloud infrastructure products (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Strong product sense to transform complex problems into clear scope and delivered value without perfect information.
- Ability to reason about complex distributed systems, architectural tradeoffs, and platform evolution (systems thinking).
- Demonstrated skill in balancing customer needs, engineering constraints, and platform investments for prioritization.
- Deep technical fluency in cloud fundamentals including cost/billing, identity/IAM, networking, compute, Kubernetes, observability, and automation.
- Coding experience sufficient to collaborate with engineers, assess feasibility, and understand system behavior.
- Excellent communication skills for explaining complex ideas simply, facilitating alignment, and engaging customers and experts.
- Bias for action and continuous improvement, focusing on shipping, measuring, learning, and iterating to build meaningful competitive capabilities.
Obowiązki
Fast iteration and backlog leadership:
- Translate VP strategy into sequenced backlog of problems, user stories, and acceptance criteria for continuous delivery.
- Keep work "thin-sliced" to enable frequent shipping, rapid learning, and risk reduction.
- Maintain disciplined cadence of backlog refinement, sprint readiness, and scope negotiation.
Deep user and workflow understanding:
- Leverage hands-on DevOps experience and domain knowledge of cloud operators.
- Identify friction, gaps, and differentiation opportunities from customer conversations.
- Prioritize enhancements improving speed, reliability, clarity, safety, governance, cost, or simplicity.
Customer validation and external communication:
- Engage frequently with customers and stakeholders to validate ideas and tradeoffs.
- Share concepts early, synthesize input into decisions, and build trust.
- Support beta and design partner activities by shaping hypotheses and rollout plans.
Engineering-embedded technical product ownership:
- Operate as core member of the Core Services Engineering team with daily collaboration.
- Partner with engineering leads on sequencing, tradeoffs, and delivery planning.
- Ensure cohesion across UX, APIs, data, operational behavior with high reliability.
Quality, outcomes, and measurement:
- Define success metrics such as adoption, activation, workflow completion, time-to-value, retention, reliability, and customer impact.
- Instrument learning with measurable releases and feedback loops.
- Own release readiness including documentation, enablement, and communication.
Safety, governance, and trust by design:
- Incorporate IAM boundaries, auditability, guardrails, and safe defaults into product requirements.
- Collaborate with security, support, and customer teams to anticipate edge cases and build trust over time.
