Senior BI Developer | Digital&IPA (freelance)

PwC Poland’s Digital&IPA team comprises 500 people responsible for IT projects for Polish and international clients, mainly financial institutions. The department provides IT consulting services and works on design, building, implementation, and analysis of data and business requirements.

• At least 3 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence, data visualization, and analytics.
• Proficiency in Power BI with good knowledge of DAX and Power Query.
• Good understanding of databases and data modeling with practical experience in technologies such as SQL, ETL tools (e.g. Alteryx), or Python.
• Proven experience conducting workshops with clients and gathering business requirements.
• Solid knowledge of data visualization and information design best practices.
• Excellent command of English.

Nice to have:

• Experience working in a consulting or client-facing environment.
• Understanding of teamwork principles in project management methodologies.
• Experience overseeing team members on projects.
• Background in UX or UI design and familiarity with design software (e.g. Figma).
• Practical skills in using Fabric, Power Platform (e.g. Power Apps).
• Knowledge of other BI tools (e.g. Tableau).
• Familiarity with Generative AI topics, Large Language Models (LLMs) and their applications in BI/analytics.

• Design and develop the visual layer of analytics and BI applications.
• Work closely with clients to understand business problems and requirements.
• Translate business objectives into insights supporting decision making.
