Senior IT Procurement Manager (Network and Telecom)

LinkGroup is recruiting for a senior-level interim position focused on Global IT procurement, overseeing a ~$200M technology spend in Networks, Telecommunications, Infrastructure Hardware, and Information Security.

• 10+ years of leadership in Global IT Strategic Procurement and Category Management.
• Proven experience leading complex, multi-million-dollar negotiations with Tier 1 global IT suppliers in Network/Telecoms, Hardware, and InfoSec.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or technical discipline.
• Professional qualification such as CIPS or equivalent is strongly preferred.
• Strong commercial acumen including IT licensing models, pricing architectures, hardware procurement, and telecom service contracts.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to influence senior executives and manage global multidisciplinary teams.

• Lead high-impact sourcing strategies and procurement initiatives across Global IT sub-categories.
• Manage complex, multi-year contract negotiations and RFx processes with Tier 1 technology vendors.
• Identify and achieve aggressive cost-saving targets and maximize commercial value.
• Assess and mitigate critical IT supplier risks and monitor vendor performance with KPIs.
• Collaborate with global IT, Legal, and Finance to translate technical requirements into commercial frameworks.
• Gather and analyze market intelligence to inform category planning and strategic positioning.
• Enforce compliance with corporate procurement policies and risk mitigation guidelines across teams.
