Technical Product Manager

CKSource is the company behind CKEditor, an open-source rich text editor used globally. It is part of Tiugo Technologies, a family of API-first developer platforms including CKEditor, TinyMCE, ButterCMS, and Uploadcare, focusing on content creation and digital collaboration.

• Technical background with the ability to read code and participate in architecture discussions.
• Ability to be productive and deliver alongside engineering and design counterparts within 3 months.
• Comfortable making numerous daily judgment calls without needing permission.
• Strong understanding of AI, specifically LLMs, prompt engineering, and model behavior.
• Clear communication skills in fluent English across diverse audiences.

Experience that helps:

• Experience with platform or backend products serving multiple teams or product surfaces.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering, model behavior, evaluations, and operational tradeoffs.
• Knowledge of APIs, service architecture, observability, permissions, rate limits, or other platform concerns relevant to product reliability at scale.

• Help shape the product vision and roadmap for AI-related features.
• Drive prioritization day to day, making tradeoffs among user value, technical complexity, speed, and quality.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Manage the product lifecycle from conception through release.
• Define and track product requirements ensuring delivery of high-quality and scalable solutions.
• Coordinate with sales, marketing, and support teams to maximize product success.
