Operational Technology Engineer

McCormick & Company is hiring an Operational Technology Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize industrial automation solutions across its global manufacturing network.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience in manufacturing OT environments
• Exposure to cybersecurity in an OT automation environment
• Familiarity with MES platforms and industrial historians
• Hands-on expertise with PLC and SCADA systems
• Strong understanding of industrial networking, cybersecurity, and disaster recovery principles
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Fluent in English

• Lead the deployment of standardized PLC, HMI, and SCADA solutions
• Support MES integration and plant-level data frameworks
• Cooperate with McCormick’s Cybersecurity team to identify potential vulnerabilities and implement preventive solutions
• Drive standardization across platforms such as Siemens, Rockwell, and Schneider Electric
• Improve system reliability through high-availability, backup, and disaster recovery strategies
• Identify automation opportunities to enhance performance, reduce costs, and support initiatives like predictive maintenance
