Senior Java Developer

Link Group is hiring a Senior Java Developer to lead the development of resilient, highly available systems and event-driven microservices for a high-stakes financial environment, focusing on scalable and secure financial data solutions.

• 7+ years of commercial backend development experience with a proven track record in building complex, distributed, and scalable systems.
• Proficient in Java 21+, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Kafka, OpenAPI, and Vault.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, GitLab CI, Jenkins, and Maven.
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, event-driven design, and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with SCRUM and strong collaboration skills.
• Fluent in English.

• Background in financial services/FinTech.
• Experience working with distributed global teams.
• Exposure to AI and LLM integrations.

• Lead the development of scalable, event-driven microservices designed for high throughput and maximum uptime.
• Design robust data models ensuring strict data consistency and security within a financial ecosystem.
• Own complex backend features throughout their full lifecycle, from schema and API definition to deployment and production monitoring.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders and frontend engineers to translate complex financial workflows into high-performance technical specifications.
• Enhance code quality with code reviews, modern CI/CD automation, and comprehensive testing including Unit, Integration, and Contract testing.
