Software Engineer

Guidewire Software is a global company providing a cloud-based platform for the property & casualty (P&C) insurance industry. The Jutro Digital Platform is their shared UI foundation powering modern experiences for insurers worldwide. The Kraków Jutro team supports 70+ internal Guidewire applications and multiple external insurers, enabling thousands of developers to build scalable, accessible web experiences on a billion-dollar cloud platform.

• 2–4 years of professional software engineering experience with substantial front-end work.
• Solid foundation in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Strong experience with React or similar frameworks; React preferred.
• Ability to independently deliver sprint-level stories: breakdown, estimation, implementation, testing, and production ownership.
• Experience working with design systems/component libraries and consuming Figma designs.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools including GitHub Actions and TeamCity.
• Basic understanding of web security, authentication, dependency management, and observability.
• AI literacy at a practitioner level, motivated to advance AI-driven workflow automation.
• Good English communication skills for clear technical discussions.

• Build the Jutro platform using React 18+, TypeScript, ensuring robust, responsive, and accessible design system components.
• Engineer secure user journeys implementing OIDC flows and auth-guarded routes.
• Develop AI-enhanced components such as chat interfaces, data tables, and performance-optimized dashboards.
• Take ownership of feature development from refinement to production deployment using GitHub Actions and TeamCity.
• Manage platform hygiene including dependency updates via yarn/npm and security triage.
• Collaborate with UX and internal teams to translate Figma designs into technical implementations.
• Innovate with AI to automate engineering workflows and monitor CI health.
