Our client is seeking an experienced Embedded Linux / CODESYS Control Developer to join a technical engineering team developing, deploying, and integrating industrial automation solutions based on Embedded Linux, ARM platforms, and CODESYS Control for Linux.
Wymagania
- Proven experience with CODESYS Control for Linux, especially on ARM-based target systems.
- Strong knowledge of Embedded Linux on ARM platforms, including kernel fundamentals and Device Tree configuration.
- Hands-on experience with GPIO and low-level hardware access in Linux, including sysfs-GPIO and libgpiod.
- Practical knowledge of at least one industrial communication protocol: OPC UA or MQTT.
- Experience with Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) solutions.
- Very good programming skills in C/C++.
- Experience with CODESYS SDK for manipulating device descriptions in XML.
- Proven experience developing custom CODESYS libraries (.library).
- Strong knowledge of IEC 61131-3 standard programming languages, especially Structured Text (ST); knowledge of Function Block Diagram (FBD) and Ladder Logic (LD) is appreciated.
- Professional experience using CODESYS Development System IDE.
Obowiązki
- Installation, configuration, and deployment of CODESYS Control for Linux on ARM-based embedded systems.
- Development and maintenance of embedded software on Embedded Linux platforms.
- Integration and configuration of hardware using low-level Linux interfaces like sysfs-GPIO, libgpiod, and optionally /dev/mem.
- Implementation of hardware communication layers and drivers for industrial devices.
- Development of custom CODESYS libraries (.library) for hardware control.
- Creation and modification of CODESYS device descriptions using XML-based CODESYS SDK tools.
- Integration of industrial communication protocols such as OPC UA and MQTT.
- Development of IIoT solutions connecting industrial devices with higher-level systems.
- Debugging and troubleshooting embedded systems at both software and hardware layers.
- Usage of CODESYS Development System IDE and programming with IEC 61131-3 standard languages such as Structured Text (ST), Function Block Diagram (FBD), and Ladder Logic (LD).
- Collaboration with engineering teams to design reliable and scalable automation systems.
