Senior Cloud Data Engineer (Talent Pool- Fabric Dynamics)

Future Processing is offering a Talent Pool initiative for experienced professionals interested in future work opportunities. The projects involve clients from the tourism, insurance, energy, pharmaceutical, and financial sectors in Europe and the USA, focusing on cloud data solutions.

• Minimum 5 years of IT experience, including at least 3.5 years working with data in Azure cloud environments, confirmed by commercial production projects.
• Advanced SQL skills applied in Microsoft and other technological solutions.
• Proficient use of Git and CI/CD methodologies.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric platform and MS Dynamics system.
• Design and optimize data processing solutions (ETL, ELT) preceded by technical project plans and alternative solutions.
• Capable of monitoring, diagnosing, and resolving cloud infrastructure issues; knowledgeable in infrastructure planning and cost calculation.
• Familiarity with Delta Lake and Data Lakehouse concepts.
• Understanding of SMP and MPP architectures with practical solution examples.
• Knowledge of secure data storage and processing mechanisms in the cloud.
• Experience in direct client collaboration.
• Conscious use of Generative AI in software development processes and architectural/technological decisions.
• Proficient in English (minimum B2) and fluent in Polish.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Databricks.

• Take responsibility for the entire data solution developed with the team.
• Create or modify cloud data processing solutions.
• Produce and update relevant documentation.
• Analyze and optimize existing or planned system solutions.
• Analyze client requirements to deliver optimal business solutions.
• Assess potential risks.
• Adjust solutions to meet business needs.
