ORLEN S.A. is a large international corporate group based in Warsaw, engaged in sectors such as energy, gas, electromobility, marketing, and retail (e.g., fuel stations and convenience stores). The offered position involves working within a newly created team focused on building AI agent solutions to automate business processes across various areas of the ORLEN Group.

• Higher education, preferably in economics, mathematics, computer science, or related fields
• Business and process-oriented thinking beyond coding
• Minimum 3 years of experience in process automation, AI/ML, software development, or integration
• Experience with language model-based solutions (RAG, tool use, API integrations) or process automation; production experience in AI agent development
• Very good knowledge of Python
• Practical experience with Google Cloud Platform or similar
• Experience in system integration via API
• Knowledge of production environment practices: testing, CI/CD, monitoring
• Communicative command of English
• Independence, effectiveness, responsibility, and readiness to collaborate with business teams
• Continuous development mindset and ability to incorporate diverse perspectives

Nice to have:

• Experience in conversational solutions and/or operational process automation
• Knowledge of security and compliance concerning language model-based solutions
• Familiarity with LLMOps practices, guardrails, quality monitoring, and cost control of model usage

• Identify business processes suitable for automation
• Build AI agents automating processes in areas such as customer service (chat, e-mail, voice), fuel stations, convenience stores, electromobility, energy & gas, and marketing
• Create solutions based on language models featuring multi-step reasoning, tool use, context retrieval (RAG), and conversational memory
• Optimize solutions based on business KPIs, quality, and customer satisfaction
• Design tests, quality evaluation, and effectiveness monitoring
• Work within Google Cloud Platform, especially Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform (Vertex AI) and platform IT services
• Integrate solutions with domain systems collaborating with IT and corporate architects, following ORLEN technology and security standards
• Participate in building initial solutions in a newly formed team
