Senior Developer (T SQL / Java / Data Flows)

BNP Paribas S.A. Branch Poland operates within the Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) sector, serving corporate and financial institution clients across Capital Markets, Securities Services, Financing, Risk Management, Cash Management, and Financial Advice. It employs over 40,000 people in 52 locations. The role is part of the DFS IT team within the Securities Services cluster, focused on delivering new solutions for operational teams and collaborating with dynamic, cross-location teams.

• 5+ years of professional experience in T-SQL (SQL Server) development
• Practical experience in Java development and JavaScript
• Working knowledge of Linux shell scripting
• Basic knowledge of WTX
• Experience working in global, distributed teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, team-oriented approach
• Organized, proactive, and results-driven

• Develop, modify, and optimize Java applications following best practices
• Develop and execute T-SQL queries and stored procedures
• Design the technical setup for data flows
• Perform impact analysis of changes and ensure consistency with existing architecture
• Define and specify data flows including technical setup and connectivity
• Validate developed flows with internal teams
• Participate in application testing phases in a Cloud environment
• Ensure architectural coherence and assess the impact of releases with the software provider
• Test developments in line with quality standards
• Produce technical and functional documentation
• Analyze legacy solutions and implement improvements based on industry best practices
• Support business activities during client migration phases with impact analysis
• Participate in the Group’s IT transformation program, including AI readiness
