Digital Data Poland Technical Lead

Jacobs Digital & Data Hub in Kraków is part of a global organization building enterprise-scale AI and data platforms supporting advanced analytics and GenAI solutions across regulated and data-sensitive domains including Government, Financial Services, Infrastructure, Energy, and Health.

• Proven experience as a Technical Lead, Principal Engineer, Solution Architect, or Senior Software Engineer with significant delivery responsibility.
• Strong software engineering background with deep understanding of SDLC, Agile delivery, modern architecture principles, and cloud technologies.
• Experience leading complex software cloud-based projects while working directly with clients and senior stakeholders.
• Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills, with confidence to challenge decisions and influence outcomes.
• Experience in discovery, pre-sales, or solution consulting.
• Experience mentoring technical teams and supporting team growth, capability development, and engineering excellence.
• Fluent English and willingness to work in an international environment with occasional travel.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with data, analytics, AI/Machine learning, automation, or enterprise integration solutions.

• Lead the technical delivery of Digital & Data projects, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business objectives.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders, facilitating technical discussions, workshops, and solution design activities.
• Challenge assumptions, identify risks, and drive pragmatic technology and delivery decisions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Partner with Project Managers, Delivery Leads, Architects, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes and client satisfaction.
• Support team setup, mentor engineers, and promote modern software engineering practices, SDLC excellence, and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to pre-sales, discovery, and solution shaping activities, helping clients translate business challenges into effective technology solutions.
• Remain hands-on when needed, providing technical guidance, architecture input, code reviews, and support for complex technical challenges.
