Digital Data Poland Technical Lead

At Jacobs, the Digital & Data Hub in Kraków is building enterprise-scale AI and data platforms supporting advanced analytics and GenAI solutions across regulated domains such as Government, Financial Services, Infrastructure, Energy, and Health.

• Proven experience as a Technical Lead, Principal Engineer, Solution Architect, or Senior Software Engineer with significant delivery responsibility.
• Strong software engineering background with deep understanding of SDLC, Agile delivery, modern architecture principles, and cloud technologies.
• Experience leading complex software cloud-based projects working directly with clients and senior stakeholders.
• Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills with confidence to challenge decisions and influence outcomes.
• Experience in discovery, pre-sales, or solution consulting.
• Experience mentoring technical teams and supporting team growth, capability development, and engineering excellence.
• Fluent English and willingness to work in an international environment with occasional travel.

• Lead the technical delivery of Digital & Data projects, ensuring scalable, maintainable solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders, facilitating technical discussions, workshops, and solution design.
• Challenge assumptions, identify risks, and drive pragmatic technology and delivery decisions during the project lifecycle.
• Partner with Project Managers, Delivery Leads, Architects, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Support team setup, mentor engineers, and promote modern software engineering practices and SDLC excellence.
• Contribute to pre-sales, discovery, and solution shaping activities to translate business challenges into technology solutions.
• Remain hands-on by providing technical guidance, architecture input, code reviews, and support for complex challenges.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with data, analytics, AI/ML, automation, or enterprise integration solutions.
