A1 Sorter is a company designing and implementing advanced sorting, conveyor, and robotic systems for warehouse logistics, operating dynamically in European markets with a focus on innovation and efficiency. They emphasize flexible customer approach and collaboration with leading logistics companies and scientific staff in research and development projects related to AI and intralogistics robotics.

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing complex IT, automation, or engineering projects
• Practical experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams (software + automation + implementation)
• Knowledge of WCS/RCS systems and sufficient understanding of automation (PLC) to engage technically with engineers
• Ability to independently manage project budget, schedule, and risks
• Experience setting and settling milestones in multi-stage projects
• Excellent communication skills across engineering, management, and client levels
• Willingness to work hybrid with base in Technopark Gliwice (minimum 3 days/week)
• English language proficiency at B2 level both spoken and written
• Independence, decisiveness, and resilience under time pressure

Nice to have:

• Experience in R&D projects in cooperation with universities or research institutes
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (PMI, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum) including certifications or practical use
• Experience in intralogistics, warehouse automation, or robotics sectors (e.g., AS/RS, sorting systems, AGV/AMR)
• Knowledge of project management tools (Jira, MS Project, Asana or similar)
• Experience in projects funded by R&D grants

• Technical and organizational supervision of all project stages from concept to implementation
• Coordination of work and communication between WCS, RCS, and PLC teams to ensure software and automation operate synchronously
• Project risk management including early identification and mitigation
• Setting and enforcing project milestones in collaboration with technical and scientific teams
• Communicating with scientific staff and stakeholders, translating between business and scientific languages
• Regular, data-driven reporting to company management
• Budget oversight and ensuring timely project execution
• Representing the company to stakeholders and building partnership relations
• Coordinating work across IT, technical, production, and implementation teams involved in the project
