Technical Team Leader

Morele.net is a leading Polish e-commerce platform specializing in consumer electronics such as computers, laptops, computer components, RTV, and household appliances. The company aggregates D2C brands in Poland and is expanding internationally, continuously growing its sourcing for foreign brands as well as its own brands. The Development IT Department focuses on developing and maintaining systems that significantly impact the company's profits.

• Minimum 2 years of experience leading a team or technical mentoring.
• Ability to motivate people and build a collaborative knowledge-sharing atmosphere.
• Clear communication of goals, priorities, and technical decisions.
• Responsibility for technical direction and quality of team output.
• At least 5 years of commercial programming experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills with clear and optimal implementation.
• Very good knowledge of PHP 7.x, PHP 8.x, and PHP frameworks (preferably Symfony).
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL).
• Communicative proficiency in English.
• Experience working with queuing systems.
• Commitment to high-quality, readable code.
• Proficiency in writing unit and acceptance tests (e.g., PHPUnit).
• Practical knowledge of AI tools in programming and understanding of AI models used in prompt engineering.
• Enjoys teamwork, proposing solutions, and active participation in team discussions.
• Broad understanding of a complex ecosystem with various languages, tools, and services for effective integration.

Nice to have:

• Commercial experience with DDD and Event Driven Architecture.
• Experience using Docker.
• Experience with NoSQL databases.
• Programming skills in JavaScript (preferably React.js or Vue.js).

• Lead and coordinate a team of PHP developers, planning their work and ensuring effective sprint execution.
• Motivate the team and provide regular feedback to support technical skill development.
• Support technical decision-making and problem solving within the team.
• Implement engineering best practices and maintain high-quality standards.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, openness, and technical responsibility.
• Model, build, extend, and maintain API interfaces and services aligned with organizational strategy.
• Collaborate closely with end clients from idea through deployment with dynamic, short business meetings.
• Work with other teams via API contracts or event streams.
• Share knowledge and experience within the team.
• Analyze system load, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve stability and performance.
• Clarify business requirements, estimate complexity, and plan scalable, maintainable solution architecture.
• Develop large-scale systems with event-driven architecture and queue-based event distribution.
• Collaborate in two-week iterations with a Product Owner and Scrum Master supporting the process.
